The landscape behind this text is not a picture. It is the game’s own terrain function, running.
The whole game is one line

Let go, high
The gate sits above every skill tier’s median apex and below a good run’s upper quartile — you have to be having a good flight to try it. And the kite gates nothing: a harness replays one recorded input stream with the trick suppressed and compares the runner’s whole trajectory, frame by frame. Sheet 02 draws it properly.
Twelve skies, on a clock
The hour turns over every forty-two seconds and the whole palette moves with it — sky, ridges, foreground, the colour of the light on the kite. Reach one you have never flown under and the game names it, once.

A figure here is a table of numbers and one hat shape — the body underneath is the same procedural skeleton, so nine characters cost nine profiles rather than nine drawing jobs.
They change what you look like and nothing about how you fly. Alto’s riders handle differently; ours must not. This game’s first build was scrapped for having a hidden variable in the middle, and nine quiet handling profiles is nine simulations nobody has measured. Sheet 04 lists them.
Every session opens at dawn.
The light you stare at is the light you start in. Play again keeps the sky you just died under; going home returns it to first light.
